Mateus Henrique Alves Silva (born 2 October 2002), known as Mateus Henrique, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for América Mineiro.
Career
[edit]Born in Salinas, Minas Gerais, Mateus Henrique was an América Mineiro youth graduate. He made his first team debut on 25 January 2022, coming on as a second-half substitute for Yan Sasse in a 2–1 Campeonato Mineiro away loss against Caldense.[1]
Back to the under-20s after three more matches with the main squad, Mateus Henrique renewed his contract with Coelho until 2025 on 16 February 2023.[2] He made his Série A debut on 3 June, starting as a right back in a 2–0 home win over Corinthians.[3]
